OSU and as we remember...

This weekend was precious in more ways than one.....

Mark and I went to the Ohio State Football game and had a very enjoyable time. We made memories for us. I introduced him to a good friend of mine that I have not seen in some time. Even though he did not speak much, she told me afterwards that he was wonderful. It did my heart good to hear this. His presence is enough for anyone to see how special he really is. The choice of grub was also delicious. We went with the flow and bathed in one another's company. We were having such a nice time, we decided to stay the evening and drive home in the AM.

As we drove home, we listened to the voices and screams from that terrible tragedy 10 years ago today. I was mesmerized at how much I missed on that day. As I am older now, I was able to understand better and ask the questions I could never form before. Mark was not only patient and kind, but we both became a little emotional as thousands and thousands of people are today. I was drawn to our people's voices, I wanted to hear their stories. We both realized how important it is to share with one another our happenings and to know how very blessed we are to have each other.
