Darkroom time...first love
The last assignment was to photograph passing strangers shooting 35 mm film using a Leica M4, and printing color negatives. Very intense at first, and awkward, but became more enjoyable as I shot more and more. Each person I came in contact with was unique and attracted something to my eye that I could not pass up. Went to a few different places to experiment, and got a mixed reaction from each place. Some was harder than others, pushed me though to try more and see what I could achieve.
I have never printed color before, only black and white, and it had been quite some time since I had been in the darkroom. I felt as if my memory lapsed, and I could not remember what I needed. Once I got the hang of things, that comfort and peace came back to me.
